Beautifully renovated apartment with a bathroom & kitchen. In a good neighborhood only seconds away from the beach and a short walk to the nearest station. From the large window in the living/dining room you will have an amazing view of the beach, giving you a true Kamakura experience. This place is highly recommended to those who want to enjoy swimming, surfing, strolling or have a BBQ at the beach!
We provide 2 double beds, 1 air mattress, and 1 sofa bed, so our place is suitable for families/groups. Basic kitchen tools are also available, so feel free to cook whenever you wish! A convenience store is also a short 2 min walk away. Our closest station is Hase station (5 min walk) and it only takes a short 5 min train ride on the Enoden to Kamakura Station.

Check-in time is after 3PM. We can occasionally offer early check-ins, but please check with us in advance. Many train stations have coin lockers where you can keep your luggage if needed :)

Checkout is at 11AM. Unfortunately you cannot leave your bags, as we need to prepare the room for the next guest. We recommend using the coin lockers at a station if needed :)

We often accept last-minute bookings as well. Typically, the first paid reservation will get the room.

This will be your own private house while you are in Kamakura. Please feel free to use this as your own private home. Although I wish to meet as many guests as possible, my schedule is quite tight.
Kamakura is one of the most popular cities in Japan, especially during the summer. Visitors can spend time at the beach to cool off from the hot summer weather, or take a stroll in the streets and visit the temples and shrines to get in touch with historic Japanese culture. Hase Station is accessible by Enoden (Enoshima Electric Railway), an eye-catching, unique, and retro train line that runs between Enoshima and Kamakura. Only a short walk to two of the main shrines in Kamakura: the Hase-dera and Kotoku-in, and a 9-minute walk to the main beach: Yuigahama, the Hase station area makes for the most ideal and convenient location for a stay in Kamakura.

Because the building is a wooden structure, it is difficult to completely soundproof household noises from neighboring rooms and upper floors.
We prioritize providing a relaxing atmosphere for all of our guests so as of September 2018, we ask guests who fit the following groups to not stay at our home. We apologize for the inconvenience.
・The purpose of your stay is to have a party or have a gathering
・Guests for whom it is difficult to consciously limit producing loud voices (e.g. guests with infants)
・Guests who plan to sing, play musical instruments, or do activities that are better suited for a sound-proof facility.
It is very difficult for us to ask this of our guests, but this facility is meant for relaxing in a quiet environment so we hope you can understand.
★ About Facility ★
This room is on the 3rd floor with no elevator access. It has steep building stairs without a handrail and deep bathtub which may not be suitable for senior guests and/or those with a physical disability.
★ About Parking ★
There is no bicycle parking at the property. Please do not park your bicycles by the building. They may be removed.
★About Noise★
This house is made of wood that may make internal sound echo through the house. We prepare earplug for guests, but, if you are very sensitive to such environmental noise, the house may not be suitable.
